if you’re a fan of inflatable pillows on flights, think again. low cabin air pressure on high altitudes might cause the pillow to expand and explode if you inflated the pillow before take off. besides hearing loss, the exploding pillow might snap your neck.
another removable media standard is being introduced to replace the aging smart media. championed by olympus and fujifilm, the little xd media that’s smaller than a compact flash, can store up to 8 gigabyte of data. with adaptors for compact flash slots, it might be promising if prices rival compact flash media.
