Preventing comment spam

Google is leading the fight against weblog comment spam with a new “nofollow” hyperlink tag. Blog comments with tagged hyperlinks will receive no pagerank with Google, rendering the link useless to spammers. Movable Type users can enable this feature with a plugin.
